Your library computer is probably protected against the installation of new software

I've talked with the administrator and he said that there are no restrictions at this library(college of charleston) but since the computers are older that the grapics card may not support certain graphics... so i think mabey it cannot generate the terrain... thats my guess... does any one know the requirements to run advanced terrain?... sorry for my grammer

probably the card needs updated drivers, or it's not up to par for this application as to graphics memory
could be anything really
I read somewhere that Intel cards do not fully match with DBP.

Yeah, I'm on a Dell laptop with an ATI Mobility card and just about anything runs fine. My friend's gateway laptop, which happens to be newer than mine, has some crap chip built in and it only runs the simplest of things. Sometimes it's just the card.

Terrain is generated in software, it's displayed in polygons, just as everything else is. If it's not responding, there's something else entirely at fault. It most certainly wouldn't be just the terrain, because if it can't render that, it can't do 3d period.

There might be a lack of video memory on the video cards at the library. The libray might have cards that aren't capable of 3D at all. Or the 3D support might be a complete joke like on intel's video chipsets.

Nothing I say is intended to be rude. My autism means that I do not know what is rude and what isn't rude. I apologize if I seem rude. It is not my intention.

I recently tested one of my projects on my sisters computer (which has a GeForce2 MX440), and it could handle rendering AT but not scaling it. If I tried the features of the terrain would not scale, but it added extra land on 2 sides of the terrain which was completely flat. The super texture however still was stretched to the size of the terrain. The card can run Quake3 no problem, but you show it a simple AT and it trembled with fear.
