"Ministry of Hate" Is my new game being produced right now. So no one askes, I still am developing Slaughterhouse and my current blood overlay project.
Ministry of hate(Henceforth MoH), is my project on improving my light mapping skills. im trying to add lots of unique lighting to this game. things that people dont normally try. So expect LOTS of screens, i first will post screens of my bare dev. then move on and on untill each screenie has a final product. So check first post often, as new screens will be put in here rather than clogging rest of thread.

Added 4 new screens, have about 4-5 more im gonna upload in about 5-10 minutes. . .

Check first post for more screens.

Once i get the other 4-5 screens posted I'm going to start Entity placement. so the next batch will most likely be last screenshots of the day.

Very nice! Great atmosphere. Although in the 3rd shot,with the staircase I'd do something to make the cracked wall above seem more seemless with the one below it by making the top and bottom of the texture match more. But all in all looks great!

Looking nice, those are some good textures. Your lightmapping seems a bit odd, though.

What do you mean Odd?... i though it looked pretty good...

Yes im gonna make a top matching one, im also going to retexture your stairs d13 if i could find where the install placed the texture.

and if anyone noticed, the ground texture is from mp5, just the lightness of it was altered to match the walls darkness.
Also, im going to be making retextures of models, which i will place in view/download to see the retexture, texture lol. i will NOT be putting them in first post.

I mean that the lightmaps didn't blend from segment to segment. I've seen this problem alot with later versions of FPSC, and I know that there's a way to fix it, because I've done it before. Mine is doing this too now, and it's bugging me. v.1.04 blended perfectly, but thereafter it didn't.

In one of the ini files in the FPSC directory there is lightmap settings, you have to adjust those in order to get good looking lightmaps again, since Lee toned it down for lower spec computers.

Looks good, although the one looking up the stairs; the wall texture is wierd because the worn away bit starts with a ruler straight edge at the top of the stairs. I would just make some entiies with the same texture and put them at the same angle as the stairs gradient, then put them along the side of the stairs.

I know what I mean.

There are so many settings, should I just crank 'em all up?

lightmapquality=10

that the line that you should change, if you read everything else, its for like ambient lighting, and sun and placing static lights i think

Nice. You need a mid version of the wall though. The texture looks odd with the wear halfway up. (screens 3 and 5)
