Never order from there. I have had so many problems ordering my computer from there. Heres what basicly went down:

I ordered the computer,it said it'd take an estimate of about a week to be shipped. So I wait,up until it said today was the ship date. I logged on to check the order status. Nothing. So I call them, and then,oh my,they told me they canceled my order. They said bill me later said it was fraudulent. So,basicly, they had me waiting a week, and didn't even bother to email me or call me to say that the order had been canceled. On top of that, the person on the phone didn't even care that the company was losing 1500$! I mean, honestly, thats quite a bit of money to just throw away like its nothing.

So basicly, all I am saying is,if you want good costumer service,DO NOT order from cyber power pc. All round bad experience, total waste of time, and I was completely devestated. After waiting 3 to 4 months of pushing for a computer,I get to order it,and finally get to find out that I cannot get it because the stupid billing plan thought the stuff was fraudulent. Just a total waste of time.

When you buy online with a credit card if the name and address you give does not match the details held at the bank then you won't get the goods.

If a shop sends goods to anyone except who the bank has on it's records they loose all that money.

They normaly work on 10% margins or less so if they lose 1 PC to fraud they have to sell 10 to make that money back.

I've run an online store and I'd say your experience is normal for online shopping.

Well, if they thought it was fraudulent, I don't think they'd want to tell you it wasn't being shipped. They'd want it to cause someone trouble who was trying to illegally use a credit card.

gator hex- that makes me less angry. I think I know why it messed up then. We set it to ship to our house instead of the p.o box the bank recognized.

agent dink - we weren't using the credit card illegally... at least,I don't think thats illegal.

oh well. I'm getting a computer from a different website now. Surprisingly, this one has an 8800gts. So I'm happy.

No, I know you weren't trying to do anything illegally, but they got the red flag from whatever service you paid through for some reason. Be glad that if you had a credit card thief order and be rejected they didn't tell him, that way he won't try again as fast.

Well good luck with it. I hope you used a different card or contacted your bank to hold you home address too. Shipping to PO Box numbers is a big no, no as well because there is no-one to sign for goods at a PO Box.

Agent Dink - Hah,yeah,I guess that is good.

GatorHex - Yeah,I'll have to sort out everything. I may still get the pc from cyberpowerpc, but I still don't know. Its not anything against them anymore,I'm just gonna do some more searching now.
