i just can not make sprites. the only thing that i have that i know of that can make pictures is the paint program. there is a game id like to make. and people sugjested that i start with 2d. so id like help with my favorite sprite in this game i have thought of, and start with that. so i had drawn a picture of it in real life some time ago of the front of the character. (ok im not sure how this form uses codes for images so ill put it in html and a link if that doesnt work)

<a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d44/skull1000/gameideaC.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a>

if that didnt work than heres the url
http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d44/skull1000/gameideaC.jpg

ok so the main character im talking about is the one at the top. it was the very first drawing but not that bad. hes a plant sort of thing and is mostly green. his leaves all over him are a dark green and the shape in the middle of his head would be the same green.

if you can help me, THANK YOU SO MUCH!

heres about that character, he is in a village of a big tree. in that tree are thousands of these. so the other characters you see there are fire and rock kind of villages. these green ones i call "razors" can use the roots on their feet to slip under the ground and pop back up or to attack from afar. the leaves on his arms can shot sharp thorns, like a rifle but it shoots thorns instead.

anyway thanks!

to tired to put yet. yes i am good at procrastinating things.

designing your models in high res polygons saves a lot more time then artistically creating them.
Once you have your model created and textured without the restrictions of todays shaders etc, you just render out the frames of rotation or the animation with perfect 3d angles.
