I know I shouldn't try to bring this up again, after its been locked... But that post wasn't anything like I've ever seen Indi post, ever. It's doesn't even seem like his writing style (you know, as much as you can infer from an internet forum).

What I find odder is that Cattle Rustler has had "watching the countdown to war with Iran" as his location for ages now, so why the sudden fire from indi? Personally I only ever saw the statement from a pacifist stand point, so I'm amazed that Indi decided to take it as being so hawkish.


I guess what I'm trying to say is; was that definately Indi? Do the IP addresses match up? I'm just surprised, thats all.

Seems fishy, but then again, I can write completely differently if I want to. Maybe he just noticed/had one too many/was just poed? I dunno, but it might be a moot point since he's already banned..

It sounded very hypocritical to me...For one thing Indi has preached how to contact people through email if there's a problem, he's also said never to get personal and have slapped people who have gotten personal with him. Plus Indi's post itself was political enough to be classed as a political discussion and he knows that's against the AUP...even though the post was telling CR off for the political agenda. I was actually replying about the 'hypocrisy' when it got locked.

Now that you mention it...it's not very indi like - not even Indi when he's annoyed or had a bad day, but some people can amaze you when you think you know so much about them. But I agree, there needs to a little bit of clarification whether or not his account has been hacked or anything like that.

Yeah, that didn't seem very Indi like to me.

The use of the word "watching" gives the quote an anti war feal to it but one could interpret it both ways as watching is quite a neutral word.

A agree, that didn't seem to be indi. I cant put my finger on why, but it just doesn't look like something he would post.

EDIT: And CattleRustler, while I DO agree with you, I think its obvious your location description is meant for nothing but to stir up trouble.

Yes, he is on a dynamic IP system it looks like, but that thread's posts fall into the region. It was definitely indi.

This has been Indi's m/o towards me in the past so its not surprising. The funny part is he has the meaning of the Location quote 100% backwards and it has been there for months. He hates me for never putting up with his holier than thou tyraids on the forums, or in the mods forum. When he cant win on facts in debate he resorts to what we saw in that other thread. As far as it not sounding like him, I have to disagree, to me it sounds exactly like him, I'll leave it at that.
