We need x-10 to have more normal characters and regular people. This would allow for a more role playing feel for those of us who want to build this into our FPS.

I'm up for it. But really it's all up to the people who make the new models and characters to make this stuff.

Model Pack 4 has some "normal" characters.

Yeah, but then again, it's model pack 4. Not exactly next-gen quality. No offence to bond, but I think that pack was before the time when bond learned how to do normal maps.

You're right Trinity, I would not want to settle for MP4's characters in X10 either, that would be an insult to what X10 is capable of.

I think you'll see all kinds of new models and characters once X10 is released that really live up to "next-gen" or current-gen or whatever people are calling it now.

I think it will be called next-gen until the last game for the this-gen systems are made....I believe that's how it went with last-gen (whoa, I was only five when I got my last-gen system....n64, that thing rocked).

no, what you need is a AI script that makes it so, they don't attack and they don't help. that would be a civillian.

Rick said there would be Enimies, Allies, and neutral so you don't need to make a script.

yeah, dark ai has enemies, allies, and neutral actors or whatever. So it'll be built into the engine. Unless tgc is wierd and left that out,but I doubt it.

I was thinking about guys in office suits, and office like settings.

What amazes me most is that nobody has a coffee pot fpsc ready
its that guy

yah i would like to see civs too, could be useful to have a normal guy in jeans and a t-shirt to walk down the street. or to walk through an office building and see employees in the cubicles working

I have Z Brush 3 now and I have been planning to make civilians for a while. If they are any good, I will give them out.

@Trinity

You still have to box model the mesh to make it suitable for Zbrush, it's a detail modeller, not a 3ds max.

I fully understand what it takes to get a character into FPSC. (I already have a female/male base mesh)

They should just make textures of the ones in model pack 4, like your own then just use it as a dds file..it'd work, instead of making characters and modeling and all that a=hard stuff....

Once again, model pack 4 would be an insult to x10 (no offense bond)....also, if you have custom characters in your game, your game is going to get better ratings.
