I am looking for a Ninja Warrior to be designed and made fpsc ready.
The ninja should have animations designed so that he can use both guns and swords. I also want custom animations

Back Flips
Front Flips
Lunge Attacks

I have attached what I am looking for.

Let me know a price and how long it will take you.

I know it won't be cheap, but if you do a good job, I will have more work for you. I can pay by paypal, or money order.

Thanks

Here is another Character I will be wanting designed

I am also looking for a boss character, a big guy kind of like big guy at the end of Dare Devil

I need these characters to look about like they do in these graphics, but something similar is fine to.

I will also be needing the finished 3d objects, so that I can make any adjustments I might want later. ( or I may have you do it.)

These are actual job offerings and I really want this done.

I'll do it for £60-£100 (depending on a more detailed spec)

That be the model, with the animation and a custom script.

How is he going to hold swords and guns at the same time?

if he had blades on his arms and dual pistols, then he could fight with both...and he'd be fun to animate. I'm thinking the flips would be the strafe animations?

£60-£100 is $120-$200. But that's pretty cheap, considering you'd have exclusive rights to it, and it'd be totally ready for FPSC...

How much to do it both ways

A character with just the sword, and your way. Also how much for an even further mutated version of him (further down the game, like the 6th chapter I want him to grow larger, and he will be like the final boss character)

Also can you do for the one character with just the sword, different outfits and color of eyes) ( I want an army of these mutant ninjas)?

ok. This is getting complicated.

Standard ninja.
*3000 polys (ish) with sword and gun.

*6 custom anims:
idle
shoot
dodge left (flip)
dodge right (flip)
dodge back (flip)
melee

*textured

*fpsc ready

£100

texture variations £10 each.

If you want variations of the actual ninja mesh, then each additional character will be £50

If you want 2 different versions
Quote: "A character with just the sword, and your way"
, I'll do both for £160 (considering that some of the work is already done).

I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I drop in here in between renders and cigarettes! £100 isn't a bad quote I don't think. Standard freelancers charge around £40 and hour, and I recon this is around a 5-10 hour job, so it's working out pretty cheap. Obviously if you want
Quote: "really top of the line work."
by which I'm guessing you mean shader maps and all that jazz, then maybe a little more.

Man, even though it might be a bit expensive (for fpsc) you have one of the best modelers working for you, so you will get one of the best models.

@butters... I hate to do this, but would $275.00 be okay for everything. I am kind of budgeted under 1200 for everything I am going to need to be done.

@inspire -- lol

I am wondering how many other people would be interested in this model. I don't mind sharing. sort of find out how many people would be willing to chip in 10 bucks or so... kind of cut my cost down a little. This character doesn't need to be overly unique for my games. Everyone who chips in 10 bucks get the characters as well for their use.

if thats how you're going to do it, then I'd be better off making a set of characters and selling it to everyone other wise 10 people will chip in, but then they'll share it around...

Quote: "I hate to do this, but would $275.00 be okay for everything."

For that, I'd be happy to do the generic ninjas with swords, and the boss type ninja with sword and weapon, I can probably throw some texture variations in there as well, time permitting.

I would like a pack!

But Butter fingers.
As for the making character models....

Could you please tell me what kind of jobs you take.

I mean...

Custom character no custom animations..how much would that cost?

Or maybe i made a model and send it over to you do you accept it?
If so how much would it cost?

Or if i have ideas...and made a concept drawing and send the drawing to you would you accept it?

Sorry if this is rude.

But needed to know.

As i maybe need some models for my game.

Anyway thanks in advance.

cheese cake.

I'd do you some rigging etc in return for some of those destroyed buildings... even though you're using them in your game I want them for a DB project, so there wouldn't be any overlap.

You got a point there butters, let me think about what I want to do. I would really like that model with everything I asked for. I will let you know tomorrow night what I plan to do. I need to flip through all of the stuff I need done and what I can afford.

Okay, well this way is looking promising. I imagine a lot of people would like something like this.

Let say you do it this way, would this still include the custom animation? (the flipping)

Given the way the US economy is going at it's present time, I expect by this time next year that 1 euro will equal 10,000 us dollars

Then this model pack will cost 2,700,000.00 USD

Hey butters, in about 100 years (lol) I will need someone to animate about 15 character models (not really, I just need three-four custom bipeds with every model to be rigged) how much do you estimate that would cost? Sry to mess with this thread.

@ Butterfingers
Can you make me a few characters too Butters?

Quote: "£60-£100 is $120-$200. But that's pretty cheap, considering you'd have exclusive rights to it, and it'd be totally ready for FPSC..."

That is a very good price.

I would like a Gladiator animated for sword melee, if you will.
Here are my six desired animations
Attacks
High swing
Low swing
Lunge

Defense
High block
Low block

Salute
Hail ("We who are about to die, salute you!") He would hold sword moving his fist to his shoulder then out and up.

I was thinking of him wielding the sword in one hand and a shield on the other forearm.

Let me know if you are willing to do this.
I would gladly pay the $200 ( £100 ) for a gladiator.
I would like it to look like typical gladiator out of Ancient Rome.
I could e-mail you pictures if you want the job.
Thanks

(I would buy a the Ninja in a pack too!)

its cool though, especially since this could expand into a model pack. Not sure if I'd buy it but I support the idea

Yo! Gladiator sounds fun. I just got motion capture, so I'm wetting my self with excitement to try it out. I'll try and get a gladiator done, although admittedly, I'm not great at modelling straight anatomy.

There is a pack from TGC that has a ninja, also I think roly did a barbarian could be made into a gladiator, check the packs from TGC, they did a few character ones.

Psionic made a ninja but you would have to make your own .fpe file for it...which is a breeze compared to modeling, texturing, rigging and animating it.
And you would have to make a custom script since the ninja does not have the FPSC skeleton.
Still a breeze compared to what Psionic went through to make it.
The ninja in the DarkMatter pack is not FPSC ready and you would have to make it FPSC ready (in which case you might as well get Psionic's and do your self a favor.
And I do hope Butters puts out some more stuff...it's been way too long.

Please have mercy and use the search function.

Also look to re texture models that are available, a lot of people, think new models are needed for new characters, not always, a different texture can make all sorts of characters.

Bear in mind of you are making some sort of sword simulation program, you need to change the source, I think its 1.1 that has the source code, I think the latest version is 1.07 that TGC has released, so changing the source will be 1.01, not the latest, TGC do not release latest versions of the source, so you will miss those benefits of the latest version, unless you can make this sword game with just the scripting commands, others here will better advise on if that can be done, look into the engine and what can be done before you start spending money on art assets, you may find what you want to get done may not be possible in this engine, or may give trouble and that other engines may be better suited.

Thanks Butters,
I'll keep watching... for both.

Quote: "Bear in mind of you are making some sort of sword simulation program, you need to change the source"

I can just fudge out the bulletholes for my project.
I've decided the use Melee exclusively for my cut scenes and movies, leaving the guns as the primary weapons in game play.
Now that Ninja is another story, but I don't think you have to change the source.
