DarkBASIC Discussion / a bug with dark edit

i found a bug with darkedit when you use the
set window comands the editer wont highlight the
comande but if you run the code it runs just fine

set window on
set window title
set window size
set window layout

It does for me.
Anyway, if you find any commands that aren't syntax highlighted you can add them to the keywords text file in the darkEDIT156 folder, the next time you start DarkEDIT they will be highlighted

for some reason it darkedit is saying it cannot create a tmp file so I'm back to the old editor..I miss my darkedit .

It usually only says that if you haven't saved the dba file before trying to run it.

There's also my DBC IDE (unfinished, but usable)...

You can change the options so that DBEdit doesn't (attempt to) make a temporary file and just runs (like DB does).


Autosave Before Compiling is the one you want to switch off, I also took off Backups because I wanted too

I tried disabling that but it did not help,i just save the files now before running them.

hmm... have you set the default directory in DBEdit?
