I have been looking for a few days now and have only found trials with disabled export. I am looking for free (no trial) music software that can create techno beats. Thanks to anyone who can help me.

It's not as easy to use as something like fruity loops^.^ If you want complex arrangements, it may take a while to get just right in modplug.

I dunno i guess im old skool ST/Amiga I like programming my music

You can also plug a MIDI keyboard in to make your music if you don't like programming it. Select your track and press the keys on your keyboard, how much easier do you need

Look around for so called tracker software, and the various mod music formats. I believe that's exactly what have been suggested above.
