As of right now, XenMedia consists of two members- Roxas, and myself. We require an additional member- a human texture artist- someone who can create more realistic textures for our character models and to be added onto this character customizer.

We ask that you can show us your portfolio of artwork, and e-mail us with a sample used you created for our character customizer- a shirt, or a 'head' texture.

It's quite hard to make something detailed when we don't have the wire pictures of the uv-maps : (
Also, make the rotating timer based, or cap the fps to 60 or something. It's hard to rotate the character propely. Also setting the ambient light to 80-95 might be a good idea

I'll get around to that.

I'm exhausted from coding and modeling today, and I have to go now.

Thanks for the comments, I appreciate it!

This is a really good start and a nice improvement over the code you showed me a few days ago. I still think that having a base texture with a color picker would be really cool, also if you were to incorporate your old painting on object code into this, that would be kinda neat too.

Dude, this is soo uber cool. This is freakin sweet! I wish I had a to show how cool it is... Wait, there it is.

Ok, I'm done with the dumbness.

This is a cool little program. Do you plan on adding like, Customizable hair? Such as long hair, short hair, no hair, cat hair?

Though, I think you're a genius the way you built this. Hope I can see this expand. It could become the next Poser.

This is really cool. It reminds me alot of the old sims 2 clothes customizer that was released before the sims 2 came out.

@Dabip, Thanks so much! I'm glad at least some people recognize my genius j/k.... The next step will be customizable hair, yes But I might hold that off for Alqerians suggestions, they are awesome too.

@Jerok, Thanks Now that I think of it, you're right

@Roxas, Thanks man. Yeah, that would be great, the daggers you are already doing turned out great, I can't wait till Roxas, the level 200 weapon merchant in Hassassin will have many many weapons and stuff Thanks.
What was wrong with your MMORPG test thing?

I'm downloading now
How'd you get the download button in the middle!?

Like that?
That's a cool trick (if it actually worked that is )

Have you thought of using a memblock to customize features?
Supply two (or more) extremes and then let the user adjust between them?
I can't do that yet but I'm trying
I suppose there are UV mapping issues, but that can be edited too.

[edit]
Looks good, he looks a bit scary with no eyes! are the eyes going to be separate objects so you can make him look at stuff? That'd be awesome.
I'm guessing you are aware of some seaming issues? Especially on his ass! ouch

@OBese, thanks! I'll look into fixing that ass issue

@Airslide, sweet, i look forward to what you think thanks

@Pyramid and Inspire, thanks! Did you try it out, or try makin your own shirts or shoes, etc.?

Like it says in my first post, it would be cool if everyone tried to make some shirts and what not, just for the heck of it, even if its not the next mona-lisa, that would be pretty cool.

@Xeno
I'm making a Hawaiian shirt!

His feet look a bit long to me.
I will try and improve the UV texture so it is more accurate to the model and I'll post it up here to help with shirt designing

Cool It's great to see more people contributing!

Maybe I should stop working on XES (XenMedia Effect System) and make some more faces for the character. Hmm...

I thought I reacted to this, but realized I didn't yet...

So, first of all, it seems to work quite well. On the other side I wonder how you're going to use this in your MMORPG, you'll need to share all shirt textures. All you need now is more, more, more...

Thanks Thanks for bringing this out of the grave.

@FredP - If I drastically change the vertexes, I'll have to re-uv map. That means I have to re-rig for animation. Rigging is my biggest nightmare

I'll work on this soon.

Meh. Signatures. Lame :p

Ah rigging ain't too bad once you get the hang of it, I mean I always felt it was the easiest job in Milkshape - other programs it more of a pain in the bum though. You just need to get the joints sensibly done - that means they need to be modelled sensibly too.

Also, this is Mr Xenocythe, rigging tutorial writer You should be an expert and not finding it a nightmare.
