who else saw the eclipse tonight (28th august for me), the moon has turned red because of the earths shadow, and the next time it will happen is 2011 (or so iv heard)

wah i missed it ah... 2011 eh? ill try and see that one. I saw the one before this and it was the first time i was in awe .. i thought it was Mars (kinda of scared me mars so close) until i found out it was a red moon. I'll try and get it next time.

I don't think it was visible in our sky, but I didn't look for it, so I could be wrong. They were saying it was only gonna be visible to some for a quick time. It may not have happened yet though... hmm, maybe I'll get up early tonight and look for it...

I believe the next one is February of next year. Perhaps a little googling might help that...

In Australia, the news said the next one is in 2011, but that's over here.

The lunar eclipe started at 8:37 PM, and was over at about 9:30 PM I think, but I saw it around 9:10.
