my sig was erased by mod, and im not sure why. have a sneaking feeling its because of the size of my sig, which is 500by150

600 * 120 pixels was decided years ago as maximum size. There was a post about it a LONG time ago but I can't find it.

The image size was fine - I generally clear any image above 600x150.

What was the file size? If it was too extreme then that may be the reason it was cleared.

Maybe you could work on reducing the file size of your image at little. For broadband or network users, your image size isn't really a problem, but for modem users (which there are still many of), it's still a little extreme.

Yes you can make a jpg of a little better quality than mine and your's still looks great at about 28k

[edit] You could go a bit higher I guess since it was 60k and under I believe. I would keep it less than 40k though.
