As I said a little earlier, I just wanted a few ideas for models to practice on that might get used if I actually finished them (and they were any good of course). Most practice stuff get thrown away which is a waste if what you've done isn't too bad."
I see (sorry, I tend not to read much on threads full of showcased work) As for practice stuff, that is true, most of the stuff I throw away is practice stuff, especially with my latest work, I've ditched 3/4 models to get where I am with it.

But such is the world of media, and well as long as what you make is a benefit to other people then I can see why you put it here (as modellers tend to hang out in 3D Chat and people who'll use them hang around here

)

I see, the tutorial I put up there in my last post if at all any use to you is quite low poly. As for experts, nah we're pretty mellow in the side of the forum, beside there's a lot of new guys that come in with questions/models. But I think there's probably 2/3 people that count qualify as 'pros' in Apollo, we're just intermediates and beginners.

Hehe, no problem, I just found a photo of some straw cut a square out it out and made it tile-able in photoshop. What sort of thing are you going for on the roof anyway?
As for model requests...that's the consequence of such a thread.

I'm sure soon enough you'll know not to do it again
Well good luck with your models matey. And if there's any 3D crit you need or any type of advice, I'll do my best to give answers and/or help.
