I'm new to FPSCreator, but not knew to the whole scripting, modeling, animation process. I've used torque game engine before, but It doesn't suit my needs.

My question is how to animate the models properly in FPSCreator. In torque, you used DSQ files, in FPSCreator you use FPI files?

How would I animate a model and export it to an FPI file using (whatever program I would need to get).

What are your needs?

What do you mean, how do you animate? Do you mean how to make the animation, or play the animation?

Torque is more for making an RPG style game. Also, you have to create every little thing at a time. You want a wall, you have to spend about a half hour modeling it, adding textures, exporting it, and testing it.

What I am asking is, what format would I need to export my animation that I did in say milkshape or 3ds max.

For example, each character has it's own run, walk, hide, and shoot animation. I created some in milkshape, but do not know which format to export them to that FPSCreator can read.

Its likely you will need a seprate animation program for animating your models. Like milkshake or something.
