The above require a fileplanet subscription, so it's not free (except for c&c, which is in fact free). And ad supported means you get subjected to advertisements, probably before, after, and during the game.

I was thinking about it, but I decided to wait until the line went down. I remember once I was downloading a bunch of quotes from the Alien Movies and there was no line. It was about 11:45 here, so I'll try it then. Plus, I'm too lazy to look up my username. (haven't used it in years)

EDIT:

Oh, and Far Cry is available for $10 off walmart.com, so I'd just buy it there, no ads to put up with, and then you get the actual CD's, and the jewel case.

I downloaded FarCry yesterday, from what I can see there are only two static ads on the main menu, the game itself seems untouched. Also the offer is for America only, because America is the center of the galaxy and all, but you can easily get around that . FarCry is pretty cool but my PC keeps overheating every 30 mins or so

Never played FarCry before, might as well give it a try.

Edit
Doesn't look free to me... Anyone want to post a link directly to the free signup page?

Cool, and I recently bought FarCry to replace my lost copy as well. Oh well. Well I'm downloading Rayman, well until my queue has died down.
