I just wondered why the IDE is reporting to only be 1.063 when I have upgraded to 1.066? Is there any way to confirm this within the engine using code? I have the enhancements pack installed. Is there any way to change the version number within the IDE (i.e., registry or .ini file hack)?

Thanks

There is a bug in the 6.6 installer that means that not all files get updated properly and you are left with mismatched files and you may find some commands don't work as expected.

Run the 6.6b update again and select the repair option. It will fix your problem.

Boo!

I didn't think the IDE was updated when you update DBPro?

They are/were separate downloads for the updates.

So, assuming I'm not talking rubbish, or misunderstanding what version number you are referring to the IDE version doesn't change when you update DBPro (the compiler).

That's not to say that spooky isn't correct in what he says too...

spooky's actually quite right. when you upgrade it seems to change the version number, but when you install the expansion packs they seem to change the version number too. all i did was repair the upgrade recommended by spooky and all is well.

Ah, thought you had the original. Okay then, Synergy is good too.
