Hi all!

I have a big problem.
I'm useing Silent Thunder's Keypad Switch. It's working well, but if I put static entities in my game (table, chair, wall signs) then when the test game load in, and I use the switch it turns white (the switch).

The switch has the correct texture when the test game loads. It turns white when use.

If I delete static entities the switch works well.

Please help me, how can I eliminate this problem. I need the static entites. And I want to use the switch too.

I installed the latest DirectX updates, and the V106_RC4_220607 patch.

Thanks,
Deathead

You need to change it to remote 3. Or whatever it was.

Hi!

You mean the name of the switch? I tried it, but the switch still turns to white.

I checked and no other entity has the same name like this switch.

The switch's "If used" value and the target remote door's name are equal. (remote01).

Your problem makes no sense, I doubt that getting rid of static entities would affect the switch. It's probably something else, or it's a specific entity causing the problem.

Happened to me dude with just the regular one. Went black. I don't know... might just be the version I'm using. (1.06)

Play the pre-demo of 508, only at the Level Compo...

Well. I replaced the switch with one of the default switch inculded in FPSC, and it worked.

I really dont't know what is the problem with Silent Thunder's switch.
I'm sad, because I like the switch and it's not working for me.

There probably isn't any alternate texture for the switch, that's why it turns white. Use another script which doesn't switch to the alttex when used and it should work.

I think I solved the problem:
I did a right-click on the switch, and re-entered the texture path, now the direct path for the main texture and for the alt-texture.. and now it's working.
