I'm not going, I wish I could though. It's a bit over seas though for me lol and I don't have that kind of money. Are the mods going to be there in the flesh or whats the deal? Do you guys get perks like that?

Someone should video blog it or something or take pictures there and post them!

I agree! Someone should. I might not be able to go after all. :/ But if I could I'd do it.

LOL! That'd indeed be one way to get free health care, problem being it costs $200+ just to get to the convention.... Plus the fees for stow away... God, $300 to be shipped in a box! Might as well fly!

Sorry to be off-topic but on the subject of avatars ... Batvink, your avatar bears an uncanny likeness to you! It looks like a simpsons character but not one that I recognise. Who is it?

I think he made it on a site called simpsonizeme, it takes a photo and turns it into a Simpson-like version of you.

Good isn't it! Even I can't believe how well done it is, for very little effort. You can make one here...

The only thing I changed was the hair - I added a few grey streaks.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to the convention! I walked a hell of a long way to the post office to mail my registration form just now (don't have a car yet and I'm too stingy to keep taking cabs everywhere).

Come see the WIP!

I would love to go, but that would cost way too much. Maybe in a couple years...
