Hey evryone i have a few questions:

1: is it possible for a beginner to make a fps with DBP.

2: yes, than HOW?

3: Is 3d world creator a usefull program?

4: Can someone help me a bit with the Sync on and Load file stuff?

Lol!

If you have a lot of practice you aren't a beginner!

So the answer is no, not really. It's a difficult type of program to write for a beginner. Start small. Write little useless programs to demonstrate all the commands until you know how they work.

Then write a 2D game like Pong - that's quite easy, but harder than you would think for a beginner. The things you learn writing that can be used in a 3D program.

Well, sync on turns on sync, which refreshes the screen. You put it at the beginning of programs, like this:



See the sync rate 60? Yes you do. That is the framerate you want your program to run at.

As for loading files, it depends on what you're loading. There are many different types of media. To load an image, you would use

There are more variables you can define in those calls but you won't need to worry about that for now.

Never used the program, but I assume you should go to File > Export and try to export it as a .x or .3ds.

I am now using fps creator for my fps its a super easy progam and it works nice but i would like to use DBP. Is it smart to buy the guide?
