So what games are you all looking forward too? and how much cash are you shelling out to play them

My main game is COD4, gonna upgrade my Graphics card and processor that game! Probably a 8800 GTX and a intel core 2 duo...hopefully no more than 500 pounds
Lets hope we will reach a day when a graphics card lasts longer then 6 months

Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles and Super Smash Bros Brawl. Both are coming out this year. Starcraft 2 for the computer, which is going to rock so hard.

Yea, so did i! Episode 2 coupled with Portals and Team Fortress 2 is going to kick some serious butt. I predict better sales than Episode One, and with good reason.

I WAS looking forward to GTA4 but it looks like that's been set back to Aug 2008 (on PS3 anyway)
I think "Sony" should rename themselves "Slowly" I'm still gonna buy a PS3 though

Pro Evolution Soccer 2008: it looks like Konami are finally back on track since the train wreck that was PES5; PES6 is pretty good and I still play it, but honestly it is only what PES5 should have been.

Gran Turismo 5: Wow! I've watched a short clip of this game and almost fell off my chair; it looks so real I thought it was a fake! I immediately became angry after watching the video, not because of the game but the stupid people who were complaining about the most minor details without appreciating (or understanding) the brilliance of the graphics. Nowadays if a game has photo-realism including shadowing and lighting people just take it for granted

People looking to buy Team Fortress 2 and Portals in a pack. Besides, why won't people buy both ep1 and ep2? But I digress; ep2 is looking like a much better, much more unique game than ep1 was. That's a good thing.

I know nothing about that game, but I infer that people are looking for much more than amazing graphics, ie amazing gameplay. I know I am, which is why graphics that look life-like do not interest me unless they've got a solid game to back them up. If I wanted to see real life, I'd go outside. When playing video games, I'm looking for developers who go outside the box and give me something that's so wildly different and new.

I am the same, but this was just a graphical demo of the game.
I suppose it is good in a way, because graphics are so realistic developers will have to look to gameplay to impress gamers again
It also means we'll probably have to wait 8 years for games to be released unless developers employ about 1 billion people (OK slight exaggeration )
I like that big companies are sponsoring minor developers, most of the games I have now are from companies I've never heard of! I can't remember much of this happening a few years back but maybe I'm wrong.

Half Life 2: Episode 2...simply because every other new game will murder my PC.

Though I need to play Episode 1 first. But hey, I completed HL2 before HL1 and well it won't hurt anyone if I get the story in random order again will it?

I suppose when you say what're your favorite upcoming games, people tend to think of only retail games. Of course, there are games like Geisha House, Dream, Soul Hunter, Pirates of Port Royale, Seadome; all the games people usually post about when we ask these kind of questions.

So many games, so little money.

CoD4 (i have the beta, its awesome)
Halo 3 (coming out in like 14 days or something?)
StarCraft 2 (im worried that they will botch this though... a lot of RTS games are ruined due to "counters" being too relied on and needed)
A game made by me [COMING SOME DAY ]

Looking forward to Guitar Hero 3.

After upgrading my stationary system there's a whole lot of games I would like to play, some out already some yet to come. Spore and Bio Shock are perhaps what I'm looking forward to the most, Mass Effect might be great as well.

GH3, Rock Band, Spore, Halo3, CoD(DS), Zelda(DS), GTA4.

Next year should be a great year for games.
