Quote: "I know nothing about that game, but I infer that people are looking for much more than amazing graphics, ie amazing gameplay. I know I am, which is why graphics that look life-like do not interest me unless they've got a solid game to back them up. If I wanted to see real life, I'd go outside. When playing video games, I'm looking for developers who go outside the box and give me something that's so wildly different and new."
I am the same, but this was just a graphical demo of the game.
I suppose it is good in a way, because graphics are so realistic developers will have to look to gameplay to impress gamers again
It also means we'll probably have to wait 8 years for games to be released
unless developers employ about 1 billion people (OK slight exaggeration
)
I like that big companies are sponsoring minor developers, most of the games I have now are from companies I've never heard of! I can't remember much of this happening a few years back but maybe I'm wrong.
In programming, nothing exists
