Dark GDK / [DGDK.net] XML Question

Which way do people think will be the most efficient in .net?

An XML document that looks like:



This is easier to program for.

Or


Which I understand may be more efficient in other areas.

Baring in mind that there may be sometimes 30+ attributes

I will just no 2. Im making a CMS (no.. not in DGDK.NET ) that are using XML instead of database.

And Im doing like no. 2 wich I see as best performance (but not testet).

I've already changed to the second way. Now I need to get down to some serious bur tedious coding to finish of the toolkit part of the application again with the new storage system.

Seems to work really well.

My core XML object is:



The Tree Property means I can populate list/combo boxes on the forum without having to write any extra code:



And the Objects themselves can be populated from the store or update the XML document with data, e.g.:



Adding a Guild using the toolkit produces the XML file:
