FPSC Classic Scripts / death trap but for enemies not the player. How?

So I used the 'death trap' scripts from Flatlander and it works fine .... but for the player. I then wanted to apply the principle for the enemy "..... i am surrounded by enemies and then I turn a switch and the floor disappears swallowing the enemies...."
Unfortunately the enemies CANNOT enter and even when they do they don't fall through.
There must be a restriction on friction, or something like that but I tried changing all kind of param.
Your help is appreciated

I think that the characters will not work over anything but static entities and segments. I could be wrong.

I know absolutly nothing about scripting (DarkBasic) but through numerous tests I came up with the results as xplosys has said in the post above.
I don't think it is written into the 'Ai' for the characters.
