.gif isn't a supported format in dark basic, also everytime you assign a value to the variable 'value' your erasing what was in there before so after doing this


value equals the frames per second and nothing else

I think that .gif is supported in DBPro but either way you should load like this

"G:Game\ProgrammingGames\SpaceBattleimagesplayer1_ship.gif",1

with "\"'s in between file names

position object myFoot,object position x(yourFace),object position y(yourFace),object position z(yourFace)

Any form supported by DB. I would make a big sheet of your animations then use them as a sprite.

load up your gif into a paint program and save as bmp or jpg, if you just have Micro$ofts paint then find and download Irfanview, that can load, save and convert/batch convert from/to any format I can think of and some I never heard of.

lol Mentor true.

I've been using Iview for a few years now and it's the best free image utility software...it's got all kinds of use and even plays video files,displays txt and such.
