Second, even if I HAD double posted, YOU wouldn't get my points!
The rules say that any rule-breakers get their points halved, nothing about the points being transferred to another poster!
THIRD, Even if my points were halved, they would be halved AND I would get the points for post #7000! Even if my points get cut for allegedly double posting, I still get the points for the 7000th post!

Actually, some way back we said that if we had a double poster, the next poster gets any points.

1650 points / 2 = 825 points
(1650 points + points for post #7000) / 2 = more than 825.
You fail.
More specifically, if I were to get, say, 500 points for # 7000...
(1650 + 500) / 2 = 1075
OR
(1650 / 2) + 500 = 1325
See?

That was decided shortly after post 5,000, I believe, when a user used a double account to set himself up for the post. We agreed unanimously to give the points to DBPROgrammer, who posted post 5,001, and that we would count the double accounts as the same person.

I will exempt the points being cut in half, because it seems apparent that it was a forum glitch. However I don't think it's right that you get the points for it, as you really didn't make the 7,000th post and wouldn't have if it hadn't been for the forum glitch.

If I keep the points I already had, I'm happy. Since it was by a glitch that I got the 7000th post, its only right that I don't get the points for it.
