My suspicions have been confirmed. Morrowind's main theme is a ripoff from an old war movie theme from the 70-80's. Too similar melody for a coincidence, or maybe not. Who knows.

Zachodoodle, not everybody appreciates race jokes - even those with a sense of humour - it can easily be misconstrued. I make race jokes, but I am careful where I air them - TGC of course isn't the place. The race jokes are just meant to mock racists and to make light of an issue, which really ought not to be an issue - joking with people of other races is good fun. Though I emphasise strongly on 'with'. My personal view is that satire is a good sign of social acceptance - that is if you can joke with, rather than joke at and have the capability of laughing at yourself as well as others.

At the same time, I realise that not everybody is able to think that way and could easily find such things offensive, this is a diverse, family friendly forum - so whilst you might not intend to be racist, but to be funny and you might make jokes that people of other races or skin colours may find funny also, but this just isn't the place for it, allowing it could make TGC look bad.

I'm sure you can see how such jokes could easily be taken the wrong way?

A couple of years ago I was slapped for making a joke with somebody that a good way to get a certain thread locked would be to insult the mods, so at the end of the post I called the mods a certain word that's offensive to homosexuals - I never made nor intended the connection, I've never had a problem with homosexuals, but the mod who slapped me read it entirely different. I was rightly slapped, just as I think you've been rightly slapped. After all, the point of a slap is a reality check.

I make racist jokes all the time with my friends and family, but we all mean nothing of it except for the fun of the joke itself, of course.
Except for my father maybe, him actually being racist and all.

I find racist jokes funny only when they're all in good fun. But, my dad, being racist, makes thousands of racist jokes a year. That's when I don't find them funny because he is being serious.

But on a lighter note, I hate Hannah Montana.

So I still can't decide what to do for a career...I'm leaning towards video editing because it's not nearly as headache-inducing like programming is. And yet I still like programming!!!!

Maybe I'll just leave programming as my hobby.

Ive just had the strangest, lets call it a enlightenment.

Gaia, the belife that the earth is a concious entity, we are just standalone's that will return to her in death.

This theory is nice, you cant have extreamist in a sense because of the view that life is part of a whole, so to shoot another is to in essence shoot yourself.

Good an all, but from this i thought of my own take on it.

Call it Human nature

We all die, no matter the case we can not live forever in this form, so when we are buried we are broken down into our basic components.

Our life is given to the plants that grow on from our energy. The producers, they maintain all life on earth, call them the moderators of life. They sustain us all, we are limited to thier growth and actions.

The herbivores, they are the pacifists of our world, content to live peacfully without the need of bloodshed. Our energy is passed on through the plants they feed on, So they are sustained without incident.

The carnivores, morality bears little resembelence in these monsters. A self or group motivation where in the end only the brutal survive. They are the elegantly put 'bad guys' feeding off the herbivores they gain remenants of our energy.

Now were taught good and evil, black and white. But later on in life, we realise it was just a lie, Life is and will always stay grey. The ability to distinguish between the two is well sought after, but we'll still be strained by ramifications. These are the omnivores, they are peacful, they are agressive, they are you and me.

In truth, i was going to explain immortality through the acts of a simple foodchain and how we never die, we just pass on our life force to others. But its me, and the more i thought the more i seen the distain to it.

I guess im in one of those moods.

I might refine this for phsycology. Hell i dont even take it but it's fun sitting in on other class's you learn more in that hour then you would in by taking it. What? you ask. Something grabs your attention, you research it in your lesuire, no stress, no expectations just a curiosity without burdens freedom really.

That is certainly strange. But let's continue the flow of our conversation, shall we?

Quote: "And I'm Grandmother! You may call me babushka.

Yes, I am Grandma's grandma.

"

This means you're my grandmother, too.

... Grandmother Babushka?!

In other news, I have another update on my scene.

Hmm...

This is interesting.

I'm betting one of the big differences between yours and mine is that the original rules let double-posters have their points but then cut them in half (I believe). In my program I gave the points to the next person to post. Some very large point counts have been passed off this way.

Me tests...

[EDIT]
Okay, removing the double-post points rule and deleting the extra point designations (10,000 post = 1,500) made everything match up - EXCEPT Omega gamer 69 still has 2220 points. Hmm...

[EDIT2]
I believe I know why that is - I've exempted some people from a couple of doubleposts because they were apparently forum glitches (Omega gamer 69 most notably ). I think that makes everything line up properly.

Thanks for the check, Diggsey

@BMacZero
My one works like this:
The user gets their points, UNLESS the previous post was also by them, in which case their post count is halved.

edit:
BTW, how long does yours take to run? Mine takes about 5 minutes, which is quite annoying

Okay, so on yours if a person double-posts for points then no one gets them.

Yes, also I edited my post above. Do you think it is better if points are passed on to the next person?

I think passing the points is a little better because it stops people from double-posting on a big number to keep others from getting it.

[EDIT]Run times - for the entire thread, about 10 minutes if I look at the debug display, 20 seconds if I minimize it.

Mine doesn't go through the whole thread every time I run it, it saves all the data and then just picks up where it left off next time I run it - so it usually only takes about 10 seconds even when I have it maximized.
