Yo YavinB I'm looking at your page. Looks a little empty.

Know you're planning to add stuff, but at least the home page needs a picture.

Also not a huge fan of the models page layout - something more condensed would be better. Possibly a grid style layout where when you mouse over/click on it then a list of options of file types to download comes up, or if you're including more detail then when you click on it it could open a whole new page with all the information on.

Also flashing snall that's a great song. Especially like the choir. Don't know why so many covers took it out (mind you the Buckley version was great and that omitted it).

Hooray!

Sorry, I've been having trouble getting my loan from Student Finance after Student Finance England's screw up that's left a number of students in the UK with late loans or unfulfilled ones. Now that I've actually managed to get a reply from them, they're sorting mine out...but first, I have to fill out another application form.

So I won't be living on a tight budget soon (living on £25 a week is not a luxury. ) This should be a happy thing. Though I don't know when I'll get my loan through - soon I hope, after all the student accommodation guys are asking for rent.

Though I wonder if any UK Uni students here have had trouble with Student Finance this year?

I just read this on Yahoo news:

[GM] also says it will begin repaying $6.7 billion in U.S. government loans with a $1.2 billion payment in December. It could pay off the full amount by 2010, five years ahead of schedule, but the money will come from funds loaned by the government.

So they're paying off their government loans using funds loaned by the government?

Why am I cursed with a love that can never be? Why, exactly, do I find myself loving her? Certainly there are other people out there who would perhaps be better for me, but I still feel like she's the only one I can ever truly love, for some bizarre reason. I feel like I'd be willing to do anything to make everything work out, to make sure that ends would meet and mash properly. I've also loved her for nearly two years now...arrgh. 'Tis what one calls "a helluva situation".

Meh. I dunno, not admitting it seems to be causing a lot more damage than admitting would.


I found out that the night she first told me she didn't like me, she cried (obviously not in front of me). A few months later, she cried again when she told me she didn't want to be my girlfriend anymore. Is it a coincidence that both nights she denied liking me that she cried? I mean, what the heck is that all about? If she truly loves me back, why doesn't she just say so and stop lying?

And then the point of that relationship would be what, exactly? If one of the people in the relationship doesn't love the other, then why bother even going into the relationship in the first place? All that's going to happen is both of the people will get hurt. It's already happened once between us, and I'm not about to let it happen again.

You know what I think is bliss? Losing yourself in programming...I just finally learned how to create a form in C#. It's definitely a lot easier than I thought, as well as more fun than I could ever imagine.

Yodaman, well not being with some can kind of suck and I can see why it's depressing - especially in your teenage years when you're particularly hormonal. Whilst you are found wanting, you know that there's still hope and well, you've got some great friends and of course, your friends are the ones you really ought to treat well...and of course, they're there to listen as are you...I've had a close friend complain about the girls he likes for the last 2 years forgetting that he's complaining to me...a freaking single guy looking for the girl he likes, let alone trying to get the attention from one of them.

But hey, as long as you're socialable and keep meeting new people, there's bound to be someone, right? I wouldn't get so worked up, if they don't like you in that way, it was never meant to be.
