EDIT: That wasn't at you Venge, that was at the responses to my inquiry I posted a few moments ago. I'm pretty sure the thread was locked because I got offended at General Jackson's accusations (which causes a small uproar among others). And also because religion is a banned subject.

It was a combined effort I think, we all broke the AUP, but it remained civil, heated towards the end, but civil, so we were getting away with it. It was bound to end at some point and it would end with a lock. Everybody has the right to be offended, even if not everybody agrees with your reasons to be offended. So I wouldn't put the blame on you, but accusing people of not being 'true' Christians is perhaps not fair. I would have hoped GJ would have been more tactful.


But anyway, enough of that riff-raff, the thread got locked and that's the end of it. Almost had me a picture for Failblog today:

"Orange Juice: £2.04. Buy 2 for £4.30" Do the maths and work out the saving.

Well, instead of adjusting your code, adjust your game design, there aren't many break dancing games.

Also...does anybody remember Parappa the Rapper? I never bought the game, but it was always on Playstation demo disks...I wanted it but family figured the game was crap, so we never got it.

Yup, just got back from my Karate class. My uncle has been a 2nd Degree black belt in Shodakon for five years now and he teaches the class. Good fun with only 8 people. Luckily we all have the same kind of humor or it'd be pretty dull. But, I learned how to kick someones face. Awesome. Hardest part was stretching. I can't even touch my toes yet.

[edit] Oh hey, would ya look at that. Another thread General Jackson helped locked due to his blatant religious ignorance.

Oh and CoffeYodaCoderMan, I don't blame you a single bit for being offended and reacting the way you did. I would have done the same thing, probably worse.

I'm sorry, shouldn't have brought it up, please continue on with the regular Posting Competition Banter that we all enjoy oh so well.

We were all managing to have a civil discussion about it, too. Still, I shouldn't have reacted like that. I just don't like it when people tell me that I'm not actually a Christian (when I am, and I'd think I'd know if were one or not). S'yeah. It's all water under the cyber-bridge at this point. And next time I'll keep my cool a little bit better.

And now...I just ate granola! It was yummy.

Yeah, no thanks, I still need to do a rough copy of it, have a peer who is awake at this time to edit it for me, and then retype a good copy. My fingers and legs are needed to walk to the phone and call a helpline.

I just took a look at that earth 2.0 discussion. I read about half of the page, then my ADHD kicked in and I came back over here. I find it somewhat amusing that out of all the things in that thread, what stuck out to me was Seppuku's explanation of the use of the phrase "Bless you" when people sneeze.
He said that people used to think that a sneeze was the devil attempting to possess the sneezer, so people said "Bless you" to ward him off.
However, I had heard that people used to say "bless you" because your heart literally stops beating for a split second, so people would say bless you in case the person died.

So what if I talk to myself? Its the only way i can have an intelligent conversation around here.
