Newcomers DBPro Corner / low image sampling quality?

Dark basic seems to sample images at a low quality; I load some jpegs into a program, and when i display them, they appear blurry. Is there any way to correct this?

use BMPs not JPGs. Also, remember you're working in 3D, your image will be rescaled 99% of the time, and never look like the original.
