Hey guys, I was wondering has anyone of you ever resized a partition? What are the dangers of losing the data on that partition? Thanks for your help in advance.

Dangers vary - there is a risk it could lose stuff but (obviously) only if something goes wrong, like the application crashes/does something silly or your have a power-cut/run out of battery...

I've used this application with great success in the past..

Yes Nicholas, that's the program I plan on using, see I'm trying to make room for Ubunutu, and I've defragmented the partition in question a couple of times and will now try installing. Hope everything goes ok.

Just don't make your resized partition smaller than the amount of data already on the drive. Also, defragment before hand.

Your signature has been erased by a mod because it's larger than 600x120....
