hmmm. may i make a suggestion? Erebus could use a more detailed head {helm, gas mask, rotting head[for a zombie effect]} other than that Erebus is perfect.

darimc.
Thanks mate!

LOTS.
thanks! Glad you liked it!
As for the buying it now....no sorry, you would have to wait untill
its finished.

corvert.
Sorry dude, but he already got a detailed head...(as far as i can go with modelling)
But as for equipment, that would be for variations.
As for now, this model would stay the way it is now.
Thanks! for the kind words, and ideas!

Cheers,
Cheese Cake.

Hey cheese cake, how long have you been makin things for FPSC? Are these your first models or are you a pro at makin things. Cuz they are all turning out really good and i havent really seen you around the forums much until a few weeks ago.

Well for a few months now...
but the first free and released media is my tomb pack.

Quote: "Are these your first models or are you a pro at makin things."

Quote: "Cuz they are all turning out really good and i havent really seen you around the forums much until a few weeks ago."

If you will look under my avatar you can see my join date.
Also i have modelled stuff for FPSC maybe 1 or 2 months after that...
Maybe a bit earlier....
But i am surely not a pro at modeling or texturing....
maybe a bit advanced but nothing more.

And thanks man! Thanks for the nice words!

Thanks all!

As for:
Quote: "When will this be released?"

Sorry man, dont know yet.

Anyway progress without a screenshot!

I modeled some stuff, a sort of Swat/Special Ops kind of guy.
With the use of tutorials...
and i must say, that its coming out pretty well.

I'll post some screenshots when i have the chance.
It still doesnt have a texture or a UV.
And also has a polycount between - 2500 to 2900.
I know...its a bit huge compared to the others i made.

But! Its really detailed, also i still have to delete some
unused polygons!
So i expect it to be reduced with a 300 of polycount...
Maybe more! (i hope)

Cheers,
Cheese Cake.

creator of zombies.
Hey....hmm well i have send him an email...(about a different model)
And he didnt reacted to it.
Maybe he is away for a while....or something else came up, i dont know.
Anyway, i'll send him an email again this day... (cant right now, cause i am on another computer)
about the models, which one he needed...etc...

Also...i would like to be informed next time, what the details are.
For concerning sending models...Dont want to be a pain...
But, its nicer to know what the plans are.

john schwarcz.
First, Thanks dude! Glad you like.
As for the "fear" type of girl...making her...but first concern
is my other model.
After that, i'll fully focus on the "fear" type of model.
Also as for the Organ type of character.
Better known as "Soulless Warrior". (remakes of the old ones, better mesh, better textures)
I still have to work on the texture, but like i said.
I wont be busy with any other character.
(only Astek's characters right now)
Quote: "ps do you know how many zombies there are in it cause ive only heard of one type"

You mean in x10? Or my pack?
Quote: "oh yea and when are you gonna make that boss guy ?"

After i have finished the current models.

Cheers,

Inspire.
Got it.
And thanks for the nice words.

john schwarcz.
Dont know how much zombies will come with x10...
you would have to ask them.

---EDIT---
Okey i have send a few emails to Astek...never did get any response.
So...i started some of my own characters.
The new improved berserker...still heavily W.I.P.
But i can say, that this one is much better than the old one.
This one has more muscles, and a actuall mouth...
with freaky teeth...
Which actually was a mistake...but came out pretty nice.
Nicer than i thought it would be.

Anyway polycounts are now 2293.
But unlucky, i would have to add more.

Cheers,
Cheese Cake.

Sorry little bump but!...

I have got a new screenie.
A W.I.P creature: Berserker. (the remake of the old one)

Added lots of details!
Hands with 3 fingers!
Eyes & mouth (with weird teeth)!
Chains added to his "slave" wristbands!
Better anatomy!
Bigger, better, and badder than ever!

Texture size will be: 1024x1024!
Normal, Specular...will be added later.

Biped will be: Surgeon biped, MP4. (cause its the only aggresive one)

Hope you like it!

Cheers,
Cheese Cake.

fallen one.
Yep you are right. How could i forgot that.
Well anyway thanks for telling...i already deleted the last chain!

i want to game.
Well i have to make up a better render scene...
Than just a plain background or such.
So i decided to put my signature, and the model's name, polycount on it.
And i'll leave the background story in a post.

alimpo83.
Yeah i looked at your thread.
Great looking shader! And great job on that!
And thanks for the nice words.

Also i have made a little progress!
After many of renders in zbrush or mudbox....
i decided to give it a try (mudbox)...so i downloaded the free trial!
And i must say it works great! First have to get used to it.
With camera movement and such.
And after that, the painting style of making a normal map.

Anyway, here is a W.I.P screenie of the high poly Berserker!

Hope you like it!

Cheers,
Cheese Cake.

Excellent stuff man, my only crit for you is most of your humanoids seem to have an extended looking torso. This couold just be attributed to your style and the fact that the's things aren't exactly human. I do have to say if there were an award for coming a long way in a short time you would win hands down.

That looks nice, perhaps its an idea to go over all your characters in mudbox/zbrush and jazz them up, they certainly look way better with the extra detail MB and ZB can give.

Since the poly count will be too high if done in that, I guess you could use it to make a normal map and then apply it to the low poly model.

Nah sorry but i think this will look much better than
any low-poly model...so i'll use this one.
Also since FPSC can handle models over 100k poly.

nahh ....just joking!
That was the idea...but i still have to learn more about mudbox.
Also, i am trying to find the trial of Zbrush...
(if it even exist)

Disturbing.
Thanks man! Glad you liked it!
About the human anatomy, i know it is wrong compared to real-forms.
But i felt like..."this is a outerworld creature, so i wont have
to stick to the normal-anatomy"
Of course! When i'll create human types. I will remember that.

fallen one.
I know. I am thinkin about it.

i want to game.
Thanks man!

---EDIT---
Screeny!
New high poly model!

---EDIT---
Edited my first post!

Hope you like it!

Not sure if there is one for ver3, but you should find somewhere a demo for previous version...

I think i'll stick with the Mudbox trial.
And maybe....maybe i'll buy after the trial.
But thanks anyway!

Dont know about the release date.
As i am still looking for some good web-domains.
And after that, looking for a good lay-out. (but thats basically already been taken care of)
Also, i have to find a way for a good pay method.
And finally! I'll stick them all up in a pack.
(of course i have to make more!)

If you have 3ds, than i can.
Even though i am not a master or such...
I just learned from others(looking at pics)...or tutorials...

Yeah, i once saw an effect on a pilar.
And it looked great!
So i'll probably have to test it someday.

Thanks man! Also since i focused all of my attention on
modeling characters...and not on my W.I.P game...
I think it boosted the speed up for progress of modeling.
I have more W.I.P creatures on my pc waiting to get finished.
And i also have some humanoids models.

But i seem to have no ideas left for them with Mudbox.

Well anyway...hope to post some screenshots soon...
A big picture of all the models in 1 screenshot.

Many modelers, use mudbox/zbrush for the high poly, then use the high poly to make the low poly model using poly reduction tools.
