WIP of the Modal pack four zombie surgeon, Re-Textured and with one Arm and no guts,
I have edited the texture and mesh of the zombie surgeon from MP4, I need to get this fpsc ready but If someone can tell me if I'm allowed to do this and give It out, It would help, also any hits or tip on making this better would be appreciated!

Ha, that's awesome! Great job

In it's current state, unfortunately, no you couldn't give out either the texture or the mesh. Re-textures from scratch are ok, but slight alterations of the existing texture still can't be redistributed.

I'm using fragMOTION then exported to MS3D but something went wrong with animation (deletion of arm I'm thinking) god help!

OK, thanks for clearing that up but can I use It In my own projects? Also could I edit my own full texture and give it out? But I can't edit a version of the mesh and give out?

you can use it however you want in your own projects.

Yeah, i want to game is right. You can do whatever you want with it for your own projects, even for commercial stuff. You just can't post it on it's own for redistribution.

If you make your own full texture you can give it away no problem.

Rick Vanner has told me that retextures of this type can be distributed as long as there is no charge for the retexture.
The retexture would be useless to anyone who does not own model pack 4.

Please have mercy and use the search function.

This is the e-mail I got from Rick Vanner from TGC.
Now I wouldn't have bothered posting this or the other post in this thread if I didn't know what I was talking about.Note the part where he says...and I quote..."We don’t mind re-textures and the sharing of these textures. If you search the threads having to do with retexturing you will come across a post from Rick stating exactly the same thing but that is on you.I just went through six months' worth of back e-mails to find what I posted from Rick.
Giving away retextures is fine.
Selling them is not unless they are heavily modified.
I hope I have cleared up any confusion.

What defines Heavily Modified Please execuse my stupidity. I see people who offer to retexture certain models for a cost. Is this not the same thing?

If you rexture something and put it in your game and sell the game that is fine.
