Ok im not completely new here and ive created .exe's with DB pro before but i have recently created a new game and it wont allow me to create a final stand alone .exe. I would like it if someone could lend a hand on this dilema

What precisely is or isn't happening? Are you getting an error message? If so, what does it say?

Press F4. It saves the .EXE to the folder of your project.

You can also add your media to the executable by clicking the media button at the bottom right of the default editor.At the top right an add button will appear,click it then enter the path to the media.

If you use the default IDE, click on the "Project button" (bottom right corner of the window). Then, in the right top corner, you can set the executable file name.
It may look like "%temp\dbp_program.exe". If that's the case, set it to something like "mygame.exe" and it'll be in the same project as your project file.
If it doesn't work, then I guess there's another problem and nobody will be able to help you without more details

The sleeper must awaken !
