Wow, I remember seeing this trick way back in 2001. It's cool and all, but seems to be an example of our brains putting pieces together that aren't there.

I can do the Osama thing with the song I'm currently listening to. That bit is definately stupid, but the $5 and $20 ones are quite interesting.. but if you think about it, do you think the US Government would spend all that money to build the WTC and then blow it up just because of some pictures you get from folding some bits of paper? I think not. I bet if the WTC never happened and someone did the exact same folds they wouldn't see anything suspicious.

I agree with Dr. Manette, we are only seeing things because we have seen them before.

People can only see the twin towers in the notes, because they want to see them.

I saw the devil's head in the smoke of the twin towers...so Satan is responsible?

There are also a lot of things that can suggest conspiracy, it's how the human mind works, you present something to someone in the right way and they'll see what you want them to see, that's why people fool for these theories. It's all about perception and the mind can percieve reality in different ways, hence we have science and several different religions.

As for the whole 9/11 and George Bush thing, I'm getting annoying with seeing BS about it, I believe something isn't quite right with their story and the guy, but I think some of these ideas insult my intelligence...

I bet you could fold the bill to say "Hi mom! how's those cookies doin'? Done yet? Awwww, why not? Well then, i guess i'll just have to settle with corn and dark basic cereal's", if you're good enough at folding stuff.

I'm a crazy conspiracy nut, but i have my limits.

Edit: Seppuku nailed it as usual.

All I did was try and explain to people that not everything was so black and white and all got was a lot of bad crap back so I unleashed my flamethrower of facts that I had found scouring old articles, had a lot of my stuff reported I assume, funny how people can say that 9/11 was funny and they wanted those people to die but I try and say something about it, about what may have happened or may not have happened and I get banned, I was a bit irked from it. But then, I thought wait youtube is a bunch of lunkheads anyway.

Hmmmm, so youtube doesn't allow for objective critical thinking? (I know you well enough to know you're reasonably sane when need-be ). Doesn't come as a big surprise though. Youtube is owned by google, and i never like them. Their motto is "Don't be evil", yet they show signs of evil'ness all the time. If there's one thing i hate, it's people posing as good people, doing bad.

I was in a similar discussion with other people on youtube with crazy ideas about 9/11, i didn't get banned though, but very unpopular for suggesting that the planes involved wasn't holograms or CGI....some people.

The creepy part is that the left tower, has "America" next to it, which was struck by an America Airlines plane and the other tower has a "United" next to it for an United Airlines plane that struck that tower.

I kept saying to myself 'Ian just leave it alone, don't get involved' but man it was the comments people were making, they had the gall to say they were happy people were dying...thats just sick, even if they do think they're funny.

As far as conspiracies go, cgi and holograms are going a bit far, I believe my thoughts are a little more well founded and logical, otherwise that is some damn fine image work..when's that photoshop coming out?

Yes, there are no-plane theories floating around youtube. At first i though they were being sarcastic of the alternative theories, but it was far-far worse. They actually believe that the planes were added as CGI from the mass media. And you get the less popular, but equally insane theory that they were holograms disguising missiles.

I went to debate some sense into them and i got served a nice rational response: "HEY AS****E, you are some kind of a bush agent. YOU DESERVE to die to be executed for this mess called 911. call me so we can meet so i can break your legs a*****e or so that I can set you up for the death penalty."

Some of the comments people make on youtube are shocking, it really shows how much people suck in this world. Though I do get a kick out of people's ignorance and idiotism...

Guess in all those 49 years he never came across with the term 'grow up' then?

I've had anywhere from 23 year olds to 53 year olds tell me to get out of this country, and that I'm a commi, and a terrorist and that I support them by not supporting 9/11. I mean I'm saddened by the people who died but I cannot feel sorrowful on that day and not hate myself at the end of it knowing something just feels so terribly off.

After a while I just started replying with the link to zeitgeist, funny how I never got a response back, must've shut them up real good. One of my favs is that they assume I only watch cnn or fox and think I know everything, nothing comes off more of being an ass than assuming someone thinks something that they don't. Yea I'm about to say it, Americans are lunkheads, a good portion of them..its really pathetic and sad that we are so dillusioned and easily swayed away from real news, I mean the headlines are there, but they are really small..the big bold headlines with pictures (on the net) are about celeberites or some new great thing for us that really isn't that great.

All in all...youtube kinda made me mad so I just stayed away from political topics and went back to defending people that got flamed because they messed up a bit playing guitar, I mean where the hell are those people's vids of them doing it flawlessly, nowhere..its really sad.

The whole 9/11 theory is quite possible, due to some reasons: More powerful presidency, reason for war, ability to access oil supplies etc. But its quite hard to reason why didnt the US government just sink a ship or do somthing less costly, considering reasonable spin on the information could have got enough public support for the "war on terror".
The US has made plently of stupid mistakes, but frankly killing 3000 people and costing billions in reapirs/ new laws and alot more security measures isnt 1 of them in my opinion, it just doesnt make any reasonable sence. Unless fear is the main goal here, to push for a new world order but thats a whole diffrent theory lol.

@ phil17

The bigger the lie, the more will believe it. If 9/11 was a lie or not we will not discuss. As there's a 100% chance the thread will get locked.

It's a sensitive topic, and some people find it hard to control their emotions in such a debate. It's also touching the "politics" sector of the AUP, which also is not allowed here.

I'm guessing we are barely hovering over the "red line of lock" as it is.
