hello everyone!!!
since many persons have problems to use FPI Maker because of the net framework, I have decided to completely write my FPI Editor in native language, therefore it does not need of nothing else of windows.
I hope that I have not disappointed you, but this is my first release, and so I must perfect it a little.

the application can be found here: http://www.jollyroger2.altervista.org/sito/fpieditor/setup.exe

The application language is italian but you can use english language choosing it in the setup.

thanks!!!

Shoot everyone you see.
When you have finished ammo call me please.

Although I use Notepad, this looks like a nice program. Hope it has a future.

I forgot to put LOL at the end of that. I'm always amazed at how people complain about something they got for nothing. Old school, I guess.

Best.

Yeah, you're right xplosys, but I'm thinkin:
"Why do you waste time and money to make something free if you don't improve it?"
It offers also domains at low price, but if the service is so bad... can't imagine who will buy it!
Then, I'm still a student so where can I find the money to buy a good domain?

I got a pretty good deal from GoDaddy for under $7 USD a month...if I paid by the year it would be cheaper than that.
The fact is if you want your own site sooner or later you will have to fork out a little cash for one or you will be stuck with one of those pre-made,ad-filled,limited free sites.
FPSC games are large and the free hosts won't give you the bandwidth that you need.

The simple answer is.... to sell you on the upgrade. Never think for a moment that they give it away free out of the goodness of their heart. (unless you're sleeping with them. You're not, are you?) If it were free and good, why would you upgrade?

Domains are cheap. Most times you can get them for around 10.00 a year or less. Remember that the less you pay, the less control and support you get.

Same for hosting. Someone on the forum made the remark the other day "I have over 8000 websites on 3 servers". You can probably get a deal like that for about 9.00 a year. It's fine, as long as you don't expect it to work much or often.

If you want good hosting you have to pay for it. I service only business clients (no my cat fluffy websites) and charge 144.00/year. For that they get personal service. If I had to take a guess, I would ball park your needs around what FredP has and is using. They are established and reliable without being more than you need.

Best.

I was in the same position when I started my business so I would like to help you.
Do you want me to host it on my web space for free? No ads of course. Btw, do you want your own .com domain or you need web space only?

yeah, if you can (and want) please host it on your web space!
no, I don't need a domain right now!
last question: where are you going to host it?

Ok, so I think the best option will be to host it here, as a free product:
http://www.yuppieserve.com/fpsc/

Of course, you will have to come with some kind of description (text and screenshots), licence... I think that will be enough for now, but if you want to add something else, it's ok.

Another hosting option: http://www.free-textures-tga.com/
