The 'Download' link points to the very first episode of Milk Paton, rather than the latest one!

Great stuff as usual my Man...though I must say, I totally approve of your anti-English moments...I mean we're a-holes and totally deserve it.

Though I am disappointed slightly...the lack of exaggerations aren't as fun, but I would like to see where you're going with this prize thing with the narrator.

@ Seppuku Arts - if we're not trying to do somethin new with the story teller, there's no point? You can only say "it was incredible" so many times. There are other jokes we're going to explore with this "sub plot".

Any more thoughts? The next episode is due for November. These are taking a lot longer to turn out and we have all moved apart this year, making scheduling extremely tough.

I love that part where the Warden is like "Fire at Will!" Then you guys are like "Look out Will, they're shooting at you!" Then he's like "Fire at everyone else!!

By far the most professional Milk Paton yet. Really good stuff, though It really felt like there were almost no people. It's like that in every episode, but usually there's the illusion that there are people everywhere. Maybe if all the policemen in the end had been chasing them from the beginning it would have felt more populated. Also, This really felt like a wrap up. It was of course, I'm just saying so because I noticed it a lot.

I loved it though. The Geometric story teller was a bit bland without any exaggeration, but the Playhouse totally makes up for it.

Best parts I think were when Mark put on the headphones to fool Chris, the phone conversation with the maker of the mp3 format, and the playpen at the end.

Great job. Very well done.

Its a nice one, I liked the part with the bullets in the water, very clever to use little stones for that effect!

As I said earlier elsewhere, awesome episode! Every line is worth a laugh and I was laughing a lot when I watched it last night.

Quality stuff as usual, Drew! Can't wait for the rest.

Thank you everyone,

If you enjoy these episodes, the best thing you could possibly do is send the link to say, 5 people you think might enjoy them.

We're really trying to get visitor numbers up, at the moment there is scarcely any interest in the show, despite running for a year and a half.

Indeed and I like where you're going with this, I suppose I got use to the excitement in the geometric story teller's view of the story, but if you repeat it too much it'll turn into like most UK sketch shows...you know 'Do I look bovvered?' or 'I want that one!' So I guess I'll sit down and wait for you guys to make the next episode.

Way ahead of ya, my flatmate thought it was awesome and well I suppose I could introduce it to some others.

Well, that was with a big bit of down-time due to unfortunate incidents, but I get your point.

You're best off trying to beef up the website. Make it Search Engine friendly, add it to the top 25 social bookmarking sites, make an RSS feed and submit it to all the feed sites, provide at least weekly updates on episode progress, do a write-up article, and submit it to as many indi-filming sites/forums as possible...

Thanks Jess T,

All very good ideas, I've set about that list (the link is dead but I googled the title).

However, please still try and spread the word. All it takes is a quick cut and paste of the link over MSN.

Sorry, I didn't do the link right, it should be ok now

If I had any friends who I would think were even remotely interested, I would tell them, but almost all of my friends are either computer illiterate, or don't share our sense of humor.
The only few people who may have been interested are in my course, and after wearing the MilkPaton shirt around for a bit, they all just started looking at me weird (not that they didn't already, me being the only bloke in the room with Dreads )...

Anyhoo, internet marketing is the way to go, so if you're willing, invest some time into your website. Any and every little tiny bit of attention to detail will help aswell.
(For example, I [purposely] don't have the plug-ins, or whatever, to play wmv files in my browser, so I have to download the ep then watch it. If it was an embedded flash player, however, I could watch it straight away).
I know that I personally have browsed away from websites within the first 20 seconds because what the page was about wasn't clear, or some little thing made it harder to use (bad navigation, unclear where the ads end and article begins, etc).

If you can, get your granny, or someone who wouldn't normally browse the site, to jump on and ask them for an honest opinion of how easy they found it (don't shoulder surf them!) to find then watch an episode.

Good luck.
