Well you can miss the lot cos they are not making SG-1 anymore. Cry. Apart from those 2 time travel films they are doing. Love time travel films...

Hopefully they put in more effort into the new films than was put into that monster thingy effort that the bird who plays Carter is in. You want to like it but no... Plus that latest B5 movie worries me for what they will do to SG-1. Loved B5 above almost anything else, and the new film bores your socks off (plus chucks in religion to really annoy the hell out of you and change everything you thought of B5 - yep jump to religion immediately without considering the possibility of aliens after all you have seen... right....). And I don't care how much fans go on about how they said it didn't have a great budget. A film is a film. Yawn.

Role on Atlantis.

Cheers

Same here. I haven't seen a single episode of Atlantis, the crazy antics of O'Neill are sorely missed.

Korn? I think they should pay me to sit through such a repetitive bass-line concert.

SG-1, sweet! Atlantis....not so much.

Me too, shame they shunned the shows for some other crappy ones. It's amazing how many sci-fi shows have ended in recent years, I hope some new ones start up soon

And by Sci-Fi I mean stargate/B5/Trek/Farscape/Andromeda/Firefly etc, not Eureka/Heroes etc, spaceships FTW!

Speaking of Andromeda, I saw one of the best things in an episode the other day.

Dylan and his crew were locked in his quarters by someone, and so he pulled off a panel revealing a hidden weapons stash. The first weapon he pulled out was a sword. He looked at the crew and said "Long story..."

Best joke I've seen in a long time

--
For those that don't know, the actor of Dylan in Andromeda is also the actor from Hercules: ie, Kevin Sorbo.
They used to do silly things like that in Hercules too, but I've never seen it in Andromeda yet

Andromeda had some awesome eps, I really liked the scene where Harper is defusing the file bomb and he goes to open the hatch and everyone's convincing him not to do it then he starts doing press ups

Oh and, 11Hrs to go!

Nah, the Star Wars reference was the best joke they did if you ask me:-
Quote: "[Rommie and Doyal encounter enemies on Andromeda]
Rommie: [waves hand] We are not the droids you are looking for.
Doyle: [enemies close in, some start firing] What is that?
Rommie: I don't know, but it didn't work!"

And didn't he also find a long haired wig with the sword?

Quote: "Woo Lexa Doig!"
Oh yeah. Indeed. Yep. Dribble...

Yeah, but it was kind of pointless next to the sword.

Haven't seen that episode, but I can see them doing that!

Unfortunatly, Andromeda doesn't make free-to-air here, and on PayTV, it's only on at 2:45am weeknights. I only have PayTV at home, so only when I'm on holidays from Uni, and only if I'm having a late night
