I know most 360s come with silver edition, but how many accounts on the 360 are able to use the silver edition, since it says silver is free... So....

Thanks in advance.

I think it's actually just the first account you set up - so out of the box your first profile is silver, then after that you have to opt for gold accounts, or just local accounts with no Live access.

It's pretty handy to have a silver and a gold account, so I suggest making an account for silver, enjoy the month free gold - then make a fresh account for when you have to pay for the gold account. Some games prefer you to use a seperate account for multiplayer, like Gears of War for instance.

We're going down... in a spiral to the ground...

Thanks Van B, but if Silver is free, why only one account can be made?

And second, I guess if it comes with one free gold, but I have a year subscription for gold not used yet... I would've imagined you get unlimited silvers because silver is free...

Every single 360 has free silver account, forever. You can do anything on them (download games, themes, movies, etc.) *except* play online. If you want to play games online, you need to upgrade to gold. Make sense?

I know Jeku, but how many accounts can have silver edition? As many as you want?

Yes, silver is always free.

I told you, Silver is free. Silver is not really amazing, as you can just access downloadable games, movies, etc. You can't play online with Silver, so it's useless to many.
