Prey is a pretty good game. I must admit,I really enjoyed that game,much more so than all the other games I\'ve played really. I love the portals. Funny enough,I finally figured out how they work. Its just a very high res image pasted onto that,as you can tell from how the lights snap to the other rooms lighting. If you go from a room with red lights to a room with white,you\'ll notice this. As for the gravity. Wow...no clue how they managed to pull that off. Its pretty amazing.

The portals are not just images pasted onto the entrance. In some areas you can see the enemies from the other side of the portal, and you can throw a grenade into the portal and watch it explode on the other side.

Someone here (Ruccus?) has duplicated the effect roughly in DBP, and it looked pretty cool!

I *love* Prey on the 360, but still haven't beaten it.

I too have done a rough portal program, and it's pretty much two cameras pasting a constant "video" of their view on a plane. I assume Prey does it similarly.

I've tried Prey, but I never found it to be a good game. It didn't have any cool features or things to offer.

Idk, but I don't like PC shooters, I hate their controls. Also if you have an optical mouse you need to have a good surface to use it on, I think controllers are a lot easier to use.

Your signature has been erased by a mod because it's larger than 600x120....
