LOLCats remind me of that south park episode where they're making school tv broadcasts and the one competing show owner thought up a new idea... Videos of animals with a a wide angle lens or something like that... That's how ridiculous LOLCats are.

They're cute, but... why, oh why, are people obsessed with cats on the internet!!!!???
