I get that...(And palpitations) My doctor from Cambridge told me to go and see a doctor when moving in Derby, yet I am still to do that and this is my 3rd week here.
I mean with anything that speeds up your heart or anything to do with your heart is not to worry, or feel stressed, why? It might make things worse, especially if it's a stress related illness.
When I first got my palpitations and light headedness, my doctor did a heart test and a blood test, found nothing was wrong and diagnosed it as stress. Hence my period where I haven't done any work. Last time I went, not so long a go (strangely the day after Aaron posted his health problem) she came to the same conclusion, she also said the heart tests carried can only detect a problem when it occurs, which means you can have a problem go undetected, so what I am supposed to be doing is going off to the doctor's surgery asking for a second opinion and a 24hour heart monitor.
Also, one thing I would note she said:
It is very unlikely for a young healthy person to have problems with their heart (she told me this taking into consideration my family have had a history of getting heart problems between age 50 and 60) most problems of the kind tend to be stress related - this can be for numerous reasons, pressure, exams, coursework, living up to expectations, family issues, relationship issues, especially if you are like me and bottle up emotions and stress, so I'm obviously prone to any stress related illness.
So basically, I need to 'chill out man' and find ways of stress relief, she recommended, yoga, tai chi, meditation and anything that will relax - though one thing I'd be careful of is massages, because if you have a high blood pressure it is recommended certain massages aren't to be done, like the Indian head massage. Of course eat healthily too...so I won't mention I had a burger today, yesterday, fry up for the two days before, two trips to the take away before that.
Of course, I'm yet to go through a full meditation session, tai chi or yoga.
That's all I can say on that. But in reality, your symptoms can mean almost anything, so see a doctor. Simple as that.
It should be nothing bad at all, you know, but doctors know best and don't take my opinion even if it was an educated one from my own doctor.
Also, is there a drop dead gorgeous girl you like...I mean this sort of thing happens, you feel nauseous, and your heart starts to race and from all of the panic you get chills because your body can't cope...If so, simple answer...stop looking at her butt everything you walk past her, not only is it rude and shallow, but you aren't doing yourself good, just look at a slightly less attractive girl if you must...
