Well, If you're looking for pointers, you need some lightmapping in, and some scenery around the outside, but otherwise, looks good.

Are those two fighting with AI?

Ok so heres the story theres an intro vid wich explains everything but it says youv signed up for the worst job ever (the army) and since its just a small game for the contest it has two lvls its says u must get in grab some documents and get out.

Still magerly WIP though that screeny was just a sort of layout pic so to show me where the enemies and other entities go

call to arms is already a game

the waterfall in the last screenshot looks freat (freaking great?). It's a good use of entities. Can we see a vid of the falling water animation?

THe generator in the other shot is a bit iffy. Look in the bottom right, theres a pip pointing through the wall. I like the decal inside it though.

THe first shot, with the battle scene is ok. The hills look a bit steep in that shot. Kinda like there are alien blobs in the battle field.

Overall you're looking ok. Theres a good attempt being made at custom media, so well done.

You need to add some further light mapping, and consider the architecture of your level (like the waterfall... can you actually get to it or is it just scenery, if so isn't it a bit of a waste of map space and poly's?

anyway, looking forward to seeing where you're going with this.
its a fair start.

@ butterfingers the generator is just something i threw together and i did notice the pipe but as i said its still far WIP thanks for the nice comments on the waterfall it comes in 3 different decals that u put ontop of eachother(u must be crazy if u thought i made that waterfall get it at fpsfree.com) and yes i can use it in my game. Im changing the whole first level its gonna be cobble stones with houses lined on each side and a battle on the street in the middle. I thought when u walk past the window and u look through u can see the waterfall wich i thought was a nice touch. the waterfall was made by B Squared.

Looking good so far, Fluffy. I do agree with Butters about the hills, they look very steep and unusually repetitive on the field... perhaps if you made them a lot more shallow, they won't look as repetitive.

But, like I said, it's very good looking so far. Good luck!

@Inspire:

I do believe that would be considered an unconstructive, off-topic post... and if I were Fluffy, I'd ask the mods to remove it. It's his/her thread, I don't believe double-posting would be considered a crime.

You can't get that angry over a dumb post like mine. Technically you can, but, I mean, it wouldn't be wise to do so, or else you're going to be angry all the time.

And Plystire, this is exactly why I suggested that he use the edit button. I'm not a mod, I can't tell you what to do. I just suggested it.

@ Fluffy:

I can't really say much beyond what Butters said.

Heh, I think it's okay that he bump the post as long as he has something constructive to say.

I myself tend to only double/triple/etc post when I'm puttin up screenies.

Fluffy, I like the idea of having the player be able to watch battles going on, but... what would happen if the player were to kill the enemy entities doen below? Would the other entities stop shooting? Lol, just something for you to think about.
