Hi,

I've just got this game, and I personally feel its an absolute beast of a game. The graphics (with my graphics card anyway) are lush, and the gameplay is exactly my style.

Does anybody else have it and if so what dya think of it?

Cheers,
Bozzy

Yeah I bought this along with Halo 3 because ET was so cheap! It's a really good game, but I've sort of given-up playing with the bots - it's just way too hard to ever win a match! (your fellow bots really aren't up to scratch).

Also I was *really* disappointed at the guns. They look amazing, but the sound effects (and hit damage) just feels really weedy. I'm not a big fan of the fact it only takes the slightest shot to kill you either.

The vehicles are cool (the Strogg have the best ones though!)

I think if you can get into an online match, with GOOD players who work in a team, it's a blast - but if you get stuck with a load of Rambos you don't stand a chance.

I played the demo, it looked great but didn't run too well on my computer. (Don't think the doom3 engine is quite as good as source).
It also seemed quite difficult. I kept dying (being inept at multiplayer). After buying the orange box, I decided to go with TF2 for my Multiplayer fix.

LOL i'v been playing this game for a week or so, its pretty fun in small doses but gets old after awhile the vehicles are awesome and the guns are pretty good, i like to be the strogg myself, oppressor most of the time.

GDF! Strogg are evil alien scum (see Quake 2 and 4). Quake Wars is a sweet game!
