Yeah, I've seen this around... Looks like it could go the way of that keyboard with the LCD screens in each key (ie, nowhere)

god knows about the display quality, but Siemens is still working on their paper thin LCD. In-fact they've finally released some prototype samples to a couple of mobile manufacturers.

personally I thought the airport dolly was far more impressive, as Sony already have a projection TV (I have one ^_^) on the market that uses the glass to diffuse the picture.

A Viao like that realistically could be done now, if they wanted to; but not gonna be holographic by any means mind. It's cool to see some design concepts though for potencial future technology. Especially when it uses current-gen technology.

I'd rather have a VR helmet. Nothing more 3D than turning your head and you 3D world spins
