Anyone else play it? I just made a new character on the newest server. I'm only a level 26 right now. Funny story though, I was exploring a place called The Crystal Mountain, to see if it was really crystal, it was, but it was also filled with 89+ monsters haha. So I tried to make it into the Crystal Valley Dungeon, I failed. I was touched by a lvl 91 Boss lol.

It a very polished free game, I'd recommend it to anyone who puts graphics quality above everything else and doesn't want to pay for a commercial MMORPG.

I don't think the community is all that good though like a lot of large scale maps the players are too thinly spread over it. I think maps should be build gradualy over time as the number of players grows.

Looks like cheese to be honest. Why not just spare the bit of cash for a quality, populated MMO then play empty free MMOs?

$15 a month isn't THAT hard to get!

People will pay $50/month for their cell phone bill so that can chat and text up their friends, they'll put a whole bunch of expensive pointless crap on their car so it'll look nice, they'll spend loads a month on gym memberships to look ripped for the chicks, but paying for a game they enjoy playing? Noooo. Why would anybody pay for a video game on a monthly basis? That's almost as absurd as spending a certain amount of cash a month at a videogame arcade. And who did that as kids here? Like, nobody.

The game isn't all that dry lol. I mean its better if your alone in a place because its more for you to kill. There is also some really cool stuff, pets and soul and force chips too. Just try it haha, the best and newest server is Tanda.

Well no, because people are kill stealers some times, I mean you can kill them but it takes longer to level. If your in a party then more power to you, I only party in dungeons haha.

Rappelz is very good game though I had it enough when they moved from Epic 3 to Epic 4.

I was about level 50 and decided to leave it for a day or two. It was Epic 3 then. When I started one day Rappelz again it was Epic 4. "Cool" I said but then I saw why it wasn't so cool: My character was level 1. All things I bought then wasn't in my inventory or equipped. So I decided to play it a bit but I just didn't want to go all that way again so I quitted. I'm planning to start Rappelz again sometime next year.

There is, by the way, lots of players in Rapplez at least then when I played it.

You Jlvl was reset, you can spend any Job points you had to that point. Your stuff should be in your warehouse if its not in your inventory.

I played it for an hour or 3, but i Highly dislike Point&Click MMO's, clicking to move just gives me the feeling i'm an outsider, and just giving commands like "MOVE YOU STUPID THING", And pathfinding is usually pretty crap too.

I rather control my characters with WSAD. Makes me feel more like i'm playing it.

Oh yeah, forgot that Point&Click system. I disliked it too. Its pitty there's no WASD or even arrow movement possible.

Osiris, that is becuase Gpatato bases every game from the same engine, they are rather lazy if you ask me. The only game that amused me for more then a few hours was Flyff, but that took a week, uninstalled it and went to find some better one's.

Yea I played like crazy when my friends played with me. And then they stopped and it kinda died out for me. I got to level 25ish I think, maybe higher, and can dual wield swords and stuff. I played as one of those assassin type characters. Do you guys have a clan?

Lol, yea I was really surprised how fast people can level in that game. My friends all thought I had no life when I got to the level I'm at but I'm like people just level fast! Or faster than most games, at least to me.

Does the clan use ventrilo at all?

I forget exactly, I think I'm 27? But like I said about I'm high enough to dual wield and can take down a lot of things pretty fast. I'm downloading it again right now, it's at 37% and should be done in a few hours. I had to delete it because of space requirements but it's all good now. What's your ingame name? I'll look you up when I get on. What time zone are you in to? I hope your on the server I play on too, because I'm not starting my guy over lol.

How big is this clan? Under 10? If so, I might be able to get you guys into our CS:S Vent server under a Rappelz channel.

Well my guy is on the new server, it's called Tanda. In SpoonDude, and I'm in the USA Central time zone, I think its like GMD +6 but im never sure on that haha.

I downloaded this game, and it actually looks pretty interesting. I played the WoW trial a while back but thats as far as my experience with MMO's goes (rhyme). The artwork also looks nice.

That's not as bad as you think you said.

Yeah, I mean it helps to pass the time after lvl 20 or so. Because if your a Holy Warrior like me you wont have to stop at all and you just zone out while killing stuff. Just don't try to be a mage type for your first character, they are way too hard to manage.

To bad we are on different servers =[ I don't think you can switch servers too. Not that I know of at least.

Yeah but with rampant inflation its not a lot lol. This sucks I went to a tournament all the way in Rondo and the GM didn't even give me the special GM only Drop Buff I asked for

Really nice game. Got my gf to play it as well and we're level 30 now. She's a healer and a bit annoyed by the low Mana Regen rate, but probably we just missed some detail. Lots of things are hard to learn or understand, but I ran into some Thottbot-like site for Rappelz. Quite good stuff.

For any mage type character mana sucks. When your in a dungeon party people should use mana scrolls on you whenever they can.

I just got it the other day (because I saw it here) and it's pretty interesting

I've got a 27 Dark Magician on Tortus.

I don't really have any problems with mana. I've got rank one fire arrow and thunder bolt, and I just spam fire/thunder/fire/thunder, sometimes with a soul chip and they go down pretty easy and I hardly use any mana.

If I get low on health, Nightmare+Soul Chip+Whatever-that-life-draining-spell-is, and I think I can heal from corpses too...

Yeah, but I mean if you have to grind, or your farming, its sucks to have to rest because of it.

Anywho, i just made out on an awesome Dungeon Party yesterday, we killed every boss except for Abby, the big boss, and I made out with 2 mil and a very nice new bag that can carry 4 times what my trainee bag could.
