Lol, I was not aware of this.
I'm not a newb, and I was wondering whenever I turned the lights in the room off, WHY the heck everything became extremely bright!
It's also a little weird for them to do this because the default ambience WITH lights is 25... I figured it would have been a little smarter to just set the ambience at default at the START of the program and NEVER change the ambience automatically during run-time, because if the lights got turned off, then obviously the player did it and it was intentional. But that's just MHO.
Quote: "How do I change the ambience in a the game in the first place?"
Scripting, would be the short answer.
The detailed answer would be:
AMBIENCE=X, where X is the percentage of ambience you desire. (0-100)
AMBIENCERED=X, where X is the red value you want for the ambient light. (0-255)
AMBIENCEGREEN=X, where X is the green value you want for the ambient light. (0-255)
AMBIENCEBLUE=X, where X is the blue value you want for the ambient light. (0-255)
