Here is a video tutorial I made on how to do a simple texture in paint.net. It's only a minute and thirty seconds but it will help unexperienced texture artists. Sorry about the bad sound quality, my mic's crap so it makes me sound like a 9 year old and I have a cold. lol. Screenie attached of the texture in fpsc.

press the print screen button. Then paste into paint, paint.net, save. Good to go.

But the mouse pointer dissapear though.
