Music is becoming such an important thing in video games (not that it wasn't before) So why is there no music forum???

I'm sort of leaning towards the side of how popular would this be? I sort of think that it's only a small section of the entire general discussion board, and we don't see music/sound threads often enough to warrant a board specifically for it.

On the other hand, trying it out for, say a month, wouldn't be a bad idea to see how many people would actually contribute. I dunno why music has been ignored.

^It could be a place for sound questions in general. Like if anyone has trouble with the Enhanced Audio plugin, that would be a great place to ask for help. Or if they just want to discuss music theory, get feedback on various tracks. I would probably make a bunch of threads there.

If people are active in the forums, I'll actually update all that free media.


And if people are active in the music board, I'll set up a musician gallery and profile system.

@Xenocythe Site is looking good. I think you should remove the whole "can't view forum if your not logged in" thing. If somebody visits your site they have no incentive to sign up. If you do it like the TGC Forums, you can browse but not post. You may get a few more members.
Just a thought though.

Yes.. I would also LOVE to see a music/sound board on the TGC Forum. I can't believe its been so long without one. A game with no sound is no game at all.
