here is a video of me planting a time bomb in fpsc. I plant the bomb and then I have ten seconds to move back! I will be using this for my game so I'm not sure if I should release the way to do it. I may sell the instructions along with a bomb model (not the one in this vid, because it's not mine). screenie attached as well.

@Ross tra damus, Thank you, and it is a method that works very well.

@X Games, You just host your image on a hosting site (like image shack) and go to your profile and where it says forum signature put at the end and put a direct link to the image in the middle.

I have an idea of how you could make a proximity bomb. If you could take the grenade from the WWII section (called the millsno36 or some mumbo-jumbo) and replaced the grenade projectile with a red box with some wires and stuff on it. Then alter the script and make it that if it comes within three feet with the enemy, it explodes.

I might try that.

I began work on a bomb model some months ago. If you me to finish it I will and you can use that model.

Been acheived. Do a search for Landmine. I'm away from my computer. When I get back, I'll post the script that I used for the Proximity Landmine that I came up with.

Thanks,

Not to put a lid on anything, but I personally don't think you should sell the 'instructions'. The model is a whole different story, but how you set it up is separate. In fact, I'm about 90% sure that what you did was set the triggerzone to spawn the object (easy), then set explosive to yes and spawn life to 10. Wala! Not the kind of instructions I would want to buy. It's what I use alot to make fake walls explode (something explosive sitting behind it goes off).

Cool model though

@The Toasty,

Here's the Proximity Mine that I helped piece together some time ago. I'm sure that there's components that will help you to acheive what you're after.

Thanks,

Seth Black
