Here is what I do if I want to find a specific text or code in one of the Forums, and especialy in Darkbasic.

I go to www.Google.com and I install to Google bar which is the most usefull thing you can install on your IE Browser.

Now if for example I am looking for Lasers (because I like that sort of thing) I put in the search box the following:

LASERS site:darkbasicpro.com

This will return items from the forum that relate to this search word.
site:xxxxxx limits the search in the xxxxxx site span.

That does do the trick, I found most of the things I was looking and I am a very happy man indeed! Well, kinda!

Or you could goto http://www.mywestsomerset.com/forumsearch.html as kangaroo2 has already set up a personalised google search.

I would resist installing the google bar thingy as it just a way to track what you are viewing and thus is a spyware type of program. I HATE spyware programs!

Yup I thought it would come to this and I am the first who will pull the rope when spyware programs are tried and sentenced to death.

You dont have to install Google bar, you could go to the google website, and add the same line in the search box.

I am sure there are many other search engines that do the same.

Still thanks for the link Sonic! kangaroo2 did a service to the world!
