Doesn't look like DB to be honest... If it was I'm very impressed...

EDIT: Although it does say "the following example proves how fast you can render with..." at the end... why? first off it's not the following example if the examples before the bit it's supposed to be following, secondly you can't use it as an example for the time it takes if you've got a sped up video.

Or your or I for that matter.

It's made with darkbasic classic..I recorded my screen using bulent's screen recorder 4 while i was working on my software. The bulent's screen recorder 4 is very hard to use. So my recording was not perfect .it's speedy,

But making the whole scene in RTM took me a few minutes.

INH,as u know due to our short timing in cyber space we dont use long words. when we write u,We mean You. When we write ur, we mean your. when we write abt we mean about..

I have seen you in DarkBASIC forum before..That means you are not new to the cyber-space, Why dont u know these basic things.

Anyway,No harm done...Thanx for commenting.

I doubt that the few seconds it would have taken to add in the extra letters would have had a significant impact on your life though... Unless you really are that rushed off your feet then writing in a literate fashion generally makes a better impression than writing something of the "i is teh bestest u dnt kno *** i rulez" style of grammar

but yeah that programme looks very impressive for DBC... a much better interface than anything I've been able to manage... well done mate...

It is named Real Time Modeling, but what it appears to do is place models that have already been built into 3D space. Technically it is correct, but it seems that a slight name-change would more accurately describe it's function. I don't know about using a grass-type of texture for the floor of the living room. I would also suggest you again put your website address at the end of the vid.

We DO use long words!!

As far as I am concerned, what you are using is only for sending text messages on mobile phones where you have limited character space per message. This is a forum and you are not limited to 200 characters (or whatever the limit is).

You also have plenty of time to write (and proofread if some of you others are reading this) before you click on the Post Message. If you are on dial-up you can write it in Notepad before connecting and use Copy and Paste when you are on line.

Yes I can read it OK, but it's irksome and nowhere near as easy to read as if you just typed properly. Even typing errors are easier to read than shortened words.

This forum doesn't state you cannot use 'txt speech' but in my opinion it should!

That aside, the best of luck with your software!

Hmmmm... we should try and get that changed. Text speak is destroying the english language. Plus it just looks and feels horrible. I much prefer the old-fashioned eloquence of full words. Mind you, I'm also for the introduction of top-hat/waistcoat combinations and grandfather clocks over digital.

I agree with the txt spk thingy.
I will not stoop so low as to now write a mocking sentance in txt spk with a at the end, because I am ub3r-1337.

In his defence, there's nothing in the video that says to me that it couldn't have been written in DBC...

Yeah, I wasn't doubting you as such, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't plagarism, we've had a bit of that recently. It's just the last thing I've seen from you has been that weird hair thing...

i agree that the hair and fur thing was a bit weird. But for that you cant judge me as a liar.

I don't really see why you people must bash everyones work on the first impression. That looks do-able in DBC. It looks really nice and useful. Good luck

@INH, nice to know that you have changed your point of view about my work.

@OBese87,Nope...it's not about positioning objects. As you know a real estate company needs to show some demonstration to their customers to get good market. They use 3DS max.Maya,Autocad to make these demos. Those softwares are hard and very complicated.

But my software has a drag and drop system which is very easy to use.You dont have to be a professional animator to work in my software.Within a few minutes you can create a demonstration and show it to your customer.

The AUP does not allow religious discussions.

At the moment, this thread contain nothing which goes against the AUP, but past experience has shown that the mere mention of religion in a thread quickly results in the thread degenerating and invariably ending with it being locked.

This is a game programming forum and religious beliefs of the author - or anyone else for that matter - have absolutely no place here.

So no more mention of religion please, or noob slaps will have to be given out.

Thanks...

What makes you think that I was talking just to you?

I will refrain from responding to you in the manner you used talking to me.

Are you actually requesting a noob slap?

My post was no more than a friendly and polite reminder for everyone of the dangers of mentioning religion in any thread.

Please read what I actually said rather than what you thought I meant.

I have to agree with TDK at this.

This forum is a place for discussion about DBC..Not religion.

Quote: "assalam alaikum."

Thanks for your greeting but people from all around the world read and takes part in the DBC forum. So I prefer you use international greetings.

And I am sure TDK didn’t mean to hurt your feelings. He was just warning everyone.

Now I think, in order to avoid noob slap we should not mention our religion or religious stuff around here.

Although this is just a greeting (I actually had no idea what it meant ) some people could feel like you are excluding them from the conversation by using it because they themselves aren't muslim.
Those people are usually the same ones that start religious arguments haha. I can understand that it must be hard to omit your religion from your posts when you are surrounded by it every day, but this just isn't the place for things that don't concern programming.
It's pathetic I know, but it's true.

This software looks pretty amazing!! I was wondering though, it looks like you can position your models where you want them. Does this mean I could use it as a level editor.maker? i model the Objects in something different (such as Anim8or) and then import and place?

Yes it will be out soon..Maybe in the first week of November.
So you should wait till then.

@Yodaman Jer, Yes!! you can import models and place it wherever you want. But the models will have to be in .3DS or .X format.

I think you can use it as a level editor. My demo version will be out soon,as i have written above. You can see it and buy this product.

we were just trying to save the thread
You've been here 4 years, you must have seen that sometimes people get enraged at the mere mention of the R word and go on a flaming rampage getting themselves banned and the thread locked.
Thankfully no-one like that has come across this thread, but still it is getting a bit ridiculous anyway, can we stay on topic now?
